Saharsh Atra, Graduate Engineer, Process Technologies, Panki : Being my first job out of college, I had high expectations from my work, and since I joined, they have been fulfilled every single day. The challenges I face and the responsibilities that I’m given keep me busy and enthusiastic. The best thing about working for a ‘big small company’ like Johnson Matthey is that you get to see the changes happening fast and the improvements turning into benefits in front of your eyes.
I, along with my team, am in-charge of New Product and Raw Material Trials on Pilot and Plant Scale, monitoring Product Quality and keeping Plant Processes in stable condition.
My work does not make itself limited to Technical Function, as I get to work with many Cross Functional teams as well.
The kind of manufacturing (and some research & development) exposure that I get here is simply amazing.
The people here are motivated and aggressive, and would stop at nothing if they see an opportunity. I would say it is one of the best starting careers for anyone looking to work in manufacturing!
